EFT for Adults
Release emotional burdens, improve mental well-being, and lead more fulfilling lives.
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of cognitive therapy and acupressure. It is also commonly referred to as "tapping" due to its use of tapping on specific energy points on the body to gain rapid relief from physical and emotional problems.

Many adults get stuck, burnt out, are struggling in the workplace, the feeling of overwhelm and not knowing where to begin, that's where we come in. We can help transform people's lives reducing absenteeism, improving productivity and people living their best life.
Emotional and Physical Issues:
EFT can be used to address a wide range of emotional and physical issues, including stress, anxiety, phobias, trauma, PTSD, pain management, cravings, and limiting beliefs. It is often used to alleviate emotional distress associated with past traumatic experiences and memories.
Basic Tapping
In a typical EFT session, the individual identifies a specific issue or emotion they want to address. They then rate the intensity of the issue on a scale from 0 to 10. The person then proceeds to tap on the specific points while focusing on the issue and using affirmative statements to acknowledge and release the negative emotion. After a few rounds of tapping, they re-evaluate the intensity of the issue.
Principles:
EFT helps lift emotional distress and negative emotions, which cause imbalances in the body's energy system. By tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on the issue at hand, EFT aims to restore the balance of energy and relieve emotional and physical symptoms, carrying trauma can literally make you sick.
Tapping Points:
EFT involves tapping with the fingertips on specific points along the body's meridian system. The points include the top of the head, eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, chin, collarbone, under the arm, and the karate chop point on the side of the hand. The tapping is done with a gentle, rhythmic motion.
Psychological Reversal:
EFT recognizes the concept of psychological reversal, which suggests that some individuals have subconscious resistance to change or healing., often a secondary gain to be had. EFT includes specific techniques to address psychological reversal and promote more effective tapping and reversal.
Research and Effectiveness:
It's worth mentioning that EFT has gained popularity with Prince Harry, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Nicole Kidman, Boy George, Miley Cyrus, Lily Allen, Emma Watson, Melanie Brown, Kate Winslet, Whoopi Goldberg, Clint Eastwood, Pink, Russell Brand, Hoda Kotb, Tamron Hall, Jane the Virgin, Michael Ball ,and Gwyneth Paltrow all tapping because they know how quick and effective it is!
Through the transformative practice of EFT, I empower individuals to release emotional burdens, build resilience, and embark on a journey of healing.
EFT is for chaps too...
Let's break the stereotype
In a society that often expects men to be strong, stoic, expressing emotions can be challenging. However, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, offers a unique and effective way for men to release emotional burdens, improve mental well-being, and lead more fulfilling lives. Men who embrace EFT can overcome any emotional healing such as CPTSD, PTSD, self-worth, low-self esteem, chronic pain, fears and phobias, and stress and anxiety , and lots more besides.
Stress and Anger Management:
Men often face unique stressors in their personal and professional lives, which can manifest as anger, frustration, or even aggression. EFT offers a constructive outlet to manage and alleviate these intense emotions. By tapping into the meridian points, men can release emotional tension, reducing stress levels, and gaining greater control over their reactions and well being.
Relationship Enhancement:
Maintaining healthy relationships is essential for emotional well-being. EFT can serve as a powerful tool for men to improve communication, emotional intimacy, and connection with their partners, friends, and family members. By tapping into and releasing emotions, men can develop deeper empathy, understanding, and emotional intelligence, leading to more fulfilling and harmonious relationships.
Breaking Stereotypes:
The traditional masculine stereotype emphasises emotional toughness, self-reliance, and the suppression of vulnerable emotions. However, this restrictive view can take a toll on men's mental health. EFT provides an opportunity to break free from societal expectations, allowing men to explore and process their emotions in a safe and empowering way, enabling them to feel strong again.
Accessible and Practical:
EFT is a simple technique that can be learned and practiced by anyone, regardless of age or background. The process involves gentle tapping on specific acupressure points while acknowledging and releasing emotional distress. It can be done privately making it a convenient tool for men to address their emotional well-being in the comfort of their own space once they have worked with a practitioner.
Trauma and Healing:
Men, like anyone else, can experience traumatic events that leave a lasting impact on their lives. EFT addresses trauma, including past experiences of abuse, violence, or military service-related stress. Tapping on these deep emotional wounds can facilitate healing, allowing men to reclaim their lives and move forward with renewed strength and resilience, helping to save lives.
Self-Discovery and Personal Growth:
EFT is not only about addressing emotional distress but also a pathway to self-discovery and personal growth. By engaging in regular tapping sessions, men can gain insights into their patterns, beliefs, and triggers. This newfound self-awareness empowers them to make conscious choices, break free from limiting beliefs, and cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves.
Seeking Support
Men often face societal pressures to be self-reliant and handle their struggles independently.
However, seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. EFT can be practiced individually, but it can also be beneficial to seek guidance from an EFT practitioner or therapist experienced in this modality. Professional support can provide a safe space for men to explore their emotions and receive guidance tailored to their unique needs.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) offers men an invaluable tool to break free from the constraints of societal expectations and embrace emotional well-being. By tapping into their emotions, men can release stress, manage anger, heal from trauma, enhance relationships, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. It's time for men to recognise the power of EFT and step forward with courage and openness, reclaiming their emotional freedom and leading more fulfilling lives.
